heading:  Evie McBroom Died Thursday at Hardtner

The funeral of Mrs Evie McBroom, 83, of Olla, was held at 2:00 pm Friday at 
the First Baptist Church in Olla with Dr. Roderick Conely and the Rev. Aubrey 
Veuleman, officiating.

Burial was in the Olla Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral 
Home of Columbia.  

Mrs McBroom died Thursday, October 26, 1978, at Hardtner Medical Center in 
Urania after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include one son, L. C. McBroom of Tullos; four daughters, Mrs Lola 
Louise Freeman, Mrs Edith Yvonne Holmes, and Mrs Verna Cummings, all of Olla, 
and Mrs Myrtle Marie Bones of El Paso, Texas; 14 grandchildren, and 22 
great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
