Good Pine Man Dies In Shreveport Last Saturday Morning

Lawrence McGreew, 45, of Good Pine, died Saturday morning, June 27, at 3 a.m.
in Shreveport where he had been receiving treatment for a cancer which caused
his death.

Mr. McGrew had been a resident of this community for the past twn years and
was a member of the First Baptist church of Good Pine. He was born in Dry
Prong and came to Good Pine from there.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. at the Dry Prong
cemetery with Rev. Bridges of Good Pine officiating.

Deceased is survived by his wife Della McGrew, and three children, Doris,
Lawrence, Jr., and Vermelle McGrew.
