McHaney of Jena Dies at Amyx Gravel Pit Mr. Winston Marvin McHaney, 66, of Jena, died at 12:30 am last Sunday at Amyx Gravel pit, Aimwell. Mr. McHaney was a night watchman with Amyx and had been with that company for 17 years. Funeral services were held Monday at 3:00 pm at East Jena Church of God, with the Revs. J. P. Nolan, Norman Tison, and john Blow officiating. Burial was in Jena Cemetery with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena. Graveside services were conducted by the ministers. Survivors are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Brazie Blow of Jena; two half-brothers, Leon Holland and Luther Holland, both of Kilgore, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Mae Odum of Kilgore, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Mary McHaney of Kilgore, Texas; and one grandson. Pallbearers were Ted Coleman, Norris Basco, Calvin Ainsworth, Charlie J. Brady, Bill Randall, and Joe Lasyone.
