Headline:  Area Deaths

Edna McCarty, 91, of Jena, died Monday, December 27, 1999, at LaSalle General 
Hospital of Jena.

She was a homemaker, a member of the LaSalle Homemakers Club and Temple 
Baptist Church.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 30, at Temple Baptist Church 
with Rev. Jimmy Keene officiating.

Interment followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Young's Funeral 
Home of Jonesville.

Survivors include two sons, Earl Keene of Missouri; and Joe Keene of Walker; 
ten grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren and one 
great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Earl Steele, Dusty Steele, Dennis Willis, and Doyle Carney.
