Headline:  Mother of Jena Man Succumbs

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella I. McClure, 76, of Utility were held Friday at 
10 a.m. in the Utility Baptist Church.  Burial followed in Pentecost Cemetery 
of Jena with Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena in charge of 
arrangements.

The Rev. Shelton Sharbono officiated at the church service.  Mrs. McClure 
died at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday at her home at Utility on Highway 84 between 
Jena and Jonesville.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Flora Taylor of Jonesville; five sons: 
Bennett, Bruce, Davis, and Ernest McClure, all of Jonesville and Wesley 
McClure of Jena; two brothers, Huey McClure of Pineville and Leslie McClure 
of Wildsville; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
