McCollum Is Called by Death W. W. McCollum, a native of Catahoula Parish, but for a long time a resident of Jena, died at his home here on June 29 at 8:30 in the morning. He was 69 yeas of age. Deceased was a member of the Methodist Church of Jena. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. C. Duffesne from the Methodist Church at 5 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in Nolly Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. McCollum preceded her husband to the grave, having died about 20 years ago. The deceased is survived by the following children: Homer and Wilbur McCollum, of Jena, sons; Mrs. Jim Lytle, of Jena; Mrs. Cockerham of Zenoria; Mrs. Sam Whatley and Misses Florence and Gertrude McCollum, of Jena, daughters.
