Headline:  Marvin Edgar McClure of Jonesville Dies

Funeral services for Marvin Edgar McClure, 43, were held Wednesday, Jan. 19, 
at 2 p.m. at the Jonesville First Baptist Church with the Rev. J. O. McNair 
and the Rev. Roy L. Garrett officiating.  Burial followed in Woodland 
Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. McClure died Monday at 8:15 p.m. in a Ferriday hospital.  He was sales 
manager for Purvis Motor Co. in Jonesville and a veteran of World War II.  

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ruby Parker McClure of Jonesville; is 
father, Bill McClure of Jena; one daughter, Miss Ginger McClure of 
Jonesville; one son, James Clifton McClure of Jonesville; two brothers, R. M. 
Reeves of Jena and Curtis McClure of New York; and one sister, Mrs. Juanita 
McClure Bradford of Jena.

Pallbearers were Tollie Taunton, A. D. Taylor, Don Wiley, Richard White, 
Billy Aymond and Carlton White.
