Headline:  Deaths

Died -- at the family residence in Urania Thursday, February 22, at 10:45; 
Jena Frank McCartney, 65 years of age.  The deceased is survived by his 
widow, Mrs. Fannie McCartney, Mrs. E. C. Jones, daughter; William Jones, 
grandson; Mrs. Dot Kilby, sister; and Will McCartney, brother, all of Urania. 
 Mr. McCartney was a lifelong resident of Urania and LaSalle Parish where he 
has many friends who mourn his passing.

Interment took place in Pine Hill Cemetery near Urania under the direction of 
Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Olla.
