C. McQuerry, 85 years old, whose home was at Green Forest, Ark., died in Columbia Wednesday and was interred in Hillside Cemetery there Thursday. The deceased was a retired minister and was on a visit with his son, J. H. McQuerry, editor and proprietor of The Caldwell Watchman and mayor of the Town of Columbia. Surviving are the widow and three sons, W. L. McQuerry, of Altoona, Ia.; Wallace McQuerry, of Eureka Springs, Ark.; and J. H. McQuerry, of Columbia. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. D. Kitchenham, assisted by the Rev. R. F. Harrell.
