McClure, 58, of Jonesville, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Jonesville with the Rev. Claudie Jenkins officiating. Burial followed in the Pentecostal Cemetery at Jena under the direction of Young's Funeral Home of Ferriday. Mr. McClure died Friday at his residence after a long illness. Survivors include his widow Mrs. Myrtis McClure of Jonesville; three sons, Carl D., Jr., Kaga, and Joe Ed McClure, all of Jonesville; stepmother, Mrs. Ella McClure of Jonesville; eight brothers, Bill and Ed McClure of Jena, Sam McClure in Germany, Juan, Douglas, and Clifford McClure all of Jonesville, Abner, U. S. Air Force, Montgomery, Ala.; and Fred McClure of Vidalia; eight sisters, Mrs. Lorena Wilson, Mrs. Rose Young and Mrs. Lena Mae Bell, all of Jonesville, Mrs. Myrtle Ensminger of Wisner, Mrs. Mildred Lott of Georgetown, Mrs. Estelle Barton of Marksville, Mrs. Rena Butler of Paduckah, Ky., Mrs. Julia Miller of Zachery, and four grandchildren.
