Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with Rev. Oliver Dean and Earl Paul, Jr., officiating. Burial followed at the Mt. Sinai Cemetery of Trout under arrangements by Hixson Brothers Inc. of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Oscar McCartney of Trout; three daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Chevallier and Mrs. Rheta Denton, both of Trout; Mrs. Eula Cummings of Buckeye, Arizona; one brother, Claude Francis of Rapid City, South Dakota; four sisters, Mrs. Jewel Love of Bossier City; Mrs. Bernice Jones of Trout, Mrs. Lillie Ganey of Homer and Mrs. Yvonne Cockerham of Trout. Pallbearers were C. R. Cockerham, Lawrence Burnham, Jack Cockerham, Owen Russell, Louis Paul and Alonzo Taylor.
