Headline:  Leslie Nichols

Leslie Nichols, 65, of Larto, died at the Catahoula Parish Hospital on 
January 14, 1974.  He was a retired oil field worker.

Funeral services were held January 16 at 2 p.m. at Larto Pentecostal Church 
with Revs. Larry Adams, Lloyd Trisler and Claude Terral officiating.

Interment followed at Heard Cemetery of Manifest under arrangements by Hixson 
Brothers Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Carine Sanders Nichols of Larto; two 
daughters, Mrs. Katherine Dodd of Ferriday and Mrs. Barbara Paulk of Larto; 
one brother, Clarence Nichols of Larto; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Book of 
Larto; and two grandsons.

Pallbearers were Wayne Sanders, Robert Dodd, Eugene Paulk, David Paulk, 
Harold Book, and Roger Book.
