She was homemaker. Services were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 2, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Jimmy Keene and Craig James officiating. At 1 p.m., graveside services were conducted at Campbell Creek Cemetery of Sharp under direction of Hixson Brothers Inc., of Jena. Survivors include her husband, Cleo Nichols of Jena; two sons, Joe Phillips and Johnnie Phillips, both of Jena; one daughter, Cynthia Partin of Troup, Texas; one sister, Louise Wages of Monroe; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lonnie Lutrick, Dub Dycus, Gary Dycus, Ed Benson, Jimmy Peck, and Will Nichols.
