Final services were held at the Nolley Memorial Methodist Church where Mr. Nicholson was a member, at 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 3, under the direction of the Revs. A. G. Taylor and Otis Spinks. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary Nicholson; one daughter, Mary Nicholson; one son, Raymond; one brother, J. M. Nicholson of Monroe and one sister, Miss Martha Nicholson of Shreveport. Pallbearers for the funeral were Robert Little, Fred Holt, J. C. Cason, H. c. Harrison, W. E. Gean, J. F. Justiss, Sr., Jess Moffett, Jr., and Ralph Stanley. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Brown, Shreveport; Davidson Brown, Minden; Ellis Brown and Elton Brown of Baton Rouge.
