Dock Owens Funeral services for Clarence Dock Owens, 65, who operated a fishing camp on Old River near the U. S. Highway 84 crossing, were held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11, in the Pine Grove Baptist Church near Whitehall. Mr. Owens died Monday of a heart attack at his camp. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include one brother, Calvin Owens of Minden; and two sisters, Mrs. Ida Stone of Jena and Mrs. Marjorie Phillips of Bryceland. Pallbearers were Jimmy Campbell, Ray Stutson, John Stutson, Willard Coon, L. C. Williams and J. E. Hudnall.
