Prudhomme, 82, of route 4, Oak Grove, died in a clinic there Monday night following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were conduted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Goodwill Church of God at Oak Grove with the Rev. Murel Kennedy officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Grove cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Teachie Prudhomme; seven sons, G.T. Prudhome of Oak Grove, C.R. Prudhomme of Corpus Christi, Texas, Paul Prudhomme of oxford, Ala., A.D. Hurley and Pete Hurley, both of Oak Grove, Cecil Hurley of Orange, Texas and Lawrence Hurley of Robstown, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Thames of Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Webb Prudhomme of Harrisonburg and Wilson Prudhomme of Manifest; two sisters, Mrs. Lee Enterkin of Jena and Mrs. Liska Gibson of West Monroe; nine grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.
