Mrs. Pentecost was a housewife. Funeral services were held at Bellevue Baptist Church Saturday, May 20th, at 2:00 pm with the Revs. Genie Walker and Jesse Wayne Crocks officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery at Jena with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena. Graveside services were held by the ministers. Survivors are on daughter, Mrs. Katherine Swink of Longview, Tex.; one son, Charles D. Pentecost of Hallsville, Tex.; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were John W. Lutrick, Doc Eubanks, Douglas Powell, Curtis Lutrick, Jr., Philip Wray and Albert Lutrick.
