G. Pentecost. Interment followed in the Forsythe Cemetery. Mrs. Pentecost suffered a fall a few weeks ago which confined her to her bed and it is thought that she contracted pneumonia, her death resulting Thursday afternoon at 4;30 o'clock. She had been a resident of this section for several years and was one of the few surviving widows of Confederate Veterans in LaSalle Parish. Surviving the deceased are the following children: Edward G. Truman, Robert, Fred, Henry and John Pentecost; Mrs. Alice Hanner, Mrs. A. R. Simmons, and Mrs. Lilly Whitten. A score of other relatives are also left to mourn her passing.
