Headline:  Final Rites for Calvin Peyton Held on Tuesday

Final funeral rites for Calvin Stampley (Joe) Peyton, 71, of Jonesville, were 
held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, at the First Presbyterian Church in Jonesville, with 
Rev. Jeff Bean officiating.

Burial was in the Harrsionburg Cemetery under arrangements by Kinner and 
Stevens Funeral Home of Jena.

Survivors include his widow, Ernestine Young Peyton of Utility; two sons, E. 
Y. Peyton of Jonesville and Joe W. Peyton of Shreveport; two brothers, L. D. 
Peyton of Bentonia, Mississippi, and J. D. Peyton of Winnsboro; a sister, 
Mrs. Sam Duke of Jackson, Miss.; seven grandchildren and five 
great-grandchildren.
