Headline:  Deaths, Mrs. Mealie Perkins

Funeral services were held April 7, 1975, at 2:00 p.m. for Mrs. Mealie 
Perkins, 96, at Hixson Brothers Chapel with Rev. Max Billings officiating.

Burial followed at Belah Cemetery with arrangements by Hixson Brothers, Inc., 
of Jena.

Mrs. Perkins died at 12:00 p.m., April 5, 1975, at Tomball, Texas.  She was a 
resident of Jena.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Shew of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. 
Minerva Dotson of Deckers, Texas; 3 sons, Floyd Perkins of Leesville, Virgil 
Perkins of Jena, and Talvin Perkins of Livingston, Texas; 18 grandchildren 
and 22 great-grandchildren.
