Headline:  Area Deaths

Mattie Pritchard, 103, died at 9:57 a.m., Thursday, December 30, 1999, in 
LaSalle Nursing Home of Jena.

She was a homemaker and died two days short of living in three centuries.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Friday, December 31, in the chapel of Hixson 
Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Ricky Gresham and P. A. "Fox" 
Paul officiating.

Interment followed in Collins Cemetery of Jena under direction of Hixson 
Brothers, Inc., of Jena.

Survivors include two sisters, Lillie Maude Pritchard and Marie Simons, both 
of Jena; four nieces and one nephew.

Pallbearers were Andy Girlinghouse, Vernon Parker, Kenny McMillin, Donald 
Simmons, Jesse Cooper, and Dwan Stringer.
