Perkins of Clarks is Buried at Oakhill Cemetery James Lemuel Perkins, 75, of Clarks, who died Wednesday morning shortly before noon at Monroe, was buried this (Thurs.) afternoon at Oakhill cemetery near Oakdale, following services held at the Oakdale Baptist church. Mr. Perkins, a Baptist and sawmill laborer by occupation, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maybell Perkins of Clarks; a daughter, Mrs. H. D. Hunt of Grayson; four sons, Arthur and A. L. of Clarks, Wayne of Jena, and Jesse of Monroe; four brothers, Henry of Zimmerman, Monroe of Oakdale, Andrew of Voth, Texas, and Luther of Jena; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Ashworth and Mrs. Cora Peters, both of Oakdale, and 13 grandchildren. The Rev. C. Johnson conducted the final rites with interment under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Prior to removal of the body to Oakdale for the final rites, private services were held at the residence in Clarks this (Thurs.) morning at 8 o'clock.
