Pittman Passes Away May 6 Mrs. B. F. Pittman, age 58, died at 2:45 a.m., May 6 at a hospital in Alexandria. Mrs. Pittman, who resided in Rhinehart, was a daughter of Mrs. W. H. Smith, of Midway. Burial was in the Pine Grove Cemetery near Jena at 2 p.m. on May 7. Surviving Mrs. Pittman are three sons, Coy of Manifest, Jams B. of Rhinehart, and Benny E. in the U. S. Army; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Doughty, Bossier City; Mrs. Bertie Beck of Ralph, Ala.; Mrs. Pearl Brixey of Pineville and Miss Dorothy Pittman of Rhinehart. Also surviving are Mrs. Pittman's mother, Mrs. Sarah Smith and two brothers and six sisters. Hixson Brothers were in charge of services.
