Headline:  Deaths, Mary Eliza Pilcher

Mrs. Mary Eliza Pilcher, 82, died at her home January 20 at 1:10.  She was 
born in Winn Parish but has been a lifelong resident of this community.

She is survived by four daughters, Rebecca Roberts and Mrs. Mary Ann Cook of 
Urania, Mrs. Susie Anna Smith of Shreveport, Mrs. Dottie Hatten of Olla; 
three sisters, Mrs. Martha Erskin of Sikes, Miss Amanda Roberts of Urania, 
and Mrs. Ozora Brown of Calion, Ark., also 26 grandchildren and 42 
great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held January 21 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lee Brooks and 
Rev. Hauber officiating.  Interment took place at the Pine Hill Cemetery 
under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Olla.
