Aubrey A. Paul

Aubrey A. Paul, 69, of Jena, died at 5:50 a.m., Sunday, December 30, 2001, at
the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

He was a retired insurance agent and a member of the Nolley Memorial Methodist
Church in Jena.

Paul was born December 24, 1932, at Walters to the union of Leslie Earl Paul
and Lois Huffman Paul.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2001, at the chapel of
Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Charlie Anderson, Mark
Benge and P. A. "Fox" Paul officiating.

Interment followed at the Nolley Memorial Cemetery of Jena under direction of
Kinner and Stevens, Inc. of Jena.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth D. Paul of Jena; one daughter, Rhonda Paul
Sanders of Jena; one son, Tommy A. Paul of Shreveport; his mother, Lois H.
Paul of Trout, one sister, Ruth LeMay of Trout; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Skipper Sanders, Jay Sanders, Clint Paul, Jimmy Nugent, Butch
Paul, Danny Bordelon, Paul Bradford and Terry LeMay.

Honorary pallbearers were Virgil Terral, Rev. P. A. "Fox" Paul, Edward
Chevallier, Joe Fryer, Teddy Berry, and Clifton Paul.

Memorials may be made to the Cliff Williams Memorial Foundation or to the
Methodist Children's Home.

**Note**

Aubrey married Ruth Doughty in 1953.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his father, Leslie Earl Paul d. 1977; two
brothers, Johnny Murrel d. 1939 and Leslie Earl Paul, Jr. d. 1979
