He was an oilfield superintendent and member of the Bellevue Baptist Church of Jena. He was born May 19, 1931, at Manifest to the union of Eddie Lee and Olevia Randall Poole. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena, with the Revs. Albert Vickers and Billy Edwards officiating. Burial followed in the Squires Cemetery of Summerville under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Wilhemina Poole of Jena; one daughter, Linda Dunaway of Walls, Miss.; one son, Randy Poole of Jena; one brother, Billy Ray Poole of Jena; his mother, Olevia Poole of Jena; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Barry Poole, Terry Poole, Russell Poole, Dick Zeagler, R onnie Zeagler, and Terry Zeagler. Honorary pallbearers were Hewitt Smith, Randy White, Jackie Ryan, Curtis Beard, Jay May, Joe Seymore, Tom McDonald, Buddy Hughart and Buster Scroggs.
