Richey Funeral services for John H. Richey, 74 years of age, retired merchant of Rhinehart, who died at Pineville Feb. 3 at 1:30 a.m., were held at Pine Grove Church Feb. 4 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Burton A. Miley of Harrisonburg officiating. Interment took place at the Pine Grove Cemetery near Rhinehart under the direction of Riser and Upshaw Funeral Home of Jena. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Docia Miles Richey, of Rhinehart; Mrs. Callie Wright of Rhinehart, and Mrs. R. C. Hatton of Alexandria, daughters; Charlie of Urania, J. W. of Oil City, Alex of Standard, Phillip of Pollock, R. R. of Alexandria, sons; George and W. H., brothers; Dr. J. Gaharan and Dr. Phil Gaharan half-brothers. Deceased spent his entire lifetime in Catahoula where he was born. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
