Mrs. Rushing was a housewife. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Lincecum Baptist Church near Georgetown. Burial was in Lincecum Cemetery with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena. Survivors are her husband, Mr. Lee Rushing; one daughter, Mrs. Sylvia R. Graves of Monroe; three sons, Lee Rushing Jr., of Garden Grove, Calif, Travis Elmer Rushing of Alexandria, and Chester Rushing of the U. S. Air Force in England; three brothers, Athu Atwell of Georgetown, Monroe Atwell of Trout, and Wesley V. Atwell of Pineville, and 16 grandchildren.
