Headline:  Mrs. Kate Rhodes

Mrs. Kate Rhodes, age 83 years, died at her home in Algiers on Monday, 
October 30.  Mrs. Rhodes was a sister of S. B. Hanes, of Jena; was born in 
Tensas Parish but moved to Algiers when 10 years of age and has resided there 
since.  She is survived by the following children, all of Algiers and New 
Orleans:  Thomas and Miss Ethel Rhodes, Mesdames M. A. Rouyson, James Colimb, 
and A. L. Marshall.  Interment was made Tuesday in McDonough Cemetery.
