Anthony Richardson, a nephew, and Anthony's wife who resided with the old Negro, who is well-known in this vicinity, told sheriff's officers Nathan had a "spell" this morning but apparently recovered. They were not at the home when the tragedy occurred. Neighbors rushing to the scene when smoke and fire were noticed but were unable to get inside. The Negro's body was found near the fireplace.
