Richardson, Pioneer Citizen, Dies at Rhinehart Home Mrs. Butler Richardson of Rhinehart, a pioneer citizen of that community, died at her home Saturday morning at eight o'clock. Mrs. Richardson, who before her marriage was Miss Margery Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Smith, moved with her father to Rhinehart from Mississippi, was 66 years of age. The family settled there in that year, 1870, and since that time has been one of the leading families of that section. Deceased was married at Rhinehart to Butler Richardson, who survives her, many years ago. Surviving are her husband; five children, Mrs. Janie Girlinghouse of Jena, Frank Richardson of Rhinehart, Mrs. Walter Roark of Beaumont, Tex., Lee Richardson of Rhinehart, and Mrs. Duncan Ford of Jena; three brothers, Balaam Smith of Jena, Everett Smith of Sulphur Springs, Tex., and John Smith of Rhinehart; and one sister, Mrs. J. H. Doughty of Jena. Mrs. Richardson is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Among the relatives who life in Jena and are well-known here are P. C. Girlinghouse, Jena postmaster, a grandson, Mrs. Bill Albritton, a granddaughter, and J. C. Smith, a nephew. Funeral services were held at the Oak Grove Cemetery on Sunday afternoon, July 19, with Rev. Thompson Doughty of Manifest in charge, with interment following.
