Headline:  Area Deaths

Kathryn F. Ryan, 59, of Jonesville, died Friday, November 26, 1999, at 
Alexandria.

She was a retired school teacher.  She was a graduate of Northeast Louisiana 
University and member of  Oak Ridge Baptist Church of Jena.  She was born 
July 11, 1940, at Gladewater, Texas.

Services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 28, at Sandy Lake Pentecostal 
Church of Jonesville with the Revs. Russell Hathcock and Greg Johnson 
officiating.

Burial followed in the Jena Cemetery under direction of Young's Funeral Home 
of Jonesville.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Bill Ryan of Jonesville; two sons, 
Chris Ryan and Chad Ryan, both of Jonesville; one brother, Charles Ford of 
Pineville; two foster sisters, Omega Grant of Monroe and Oneida Woods of 
Baskin; and two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Leo Ryan, Jim Ryan, Jeffery Ryan, Gary Ryan, Jerry Eubanks, 
and Bretton Woods.

James "Jim" Wiley was an honorary pallbearer.
