Reasons is Buried at Eden George Thomas Reasons, 77, who died early Monday morning about 3 o'clock at his home in the Searcy community, Route 1, Trout, was buried Tuesday afternoon following services held at the Searcy Baptist Church at 2:30 o'clock. Mr. Reasons, a farmer by occupation, had lived in the Searcy community some 30 years. He was a native of Dyersburg, Tenn., born there on July 20, 1880. The Revs. Oscar Bradford, K. A. Jones, Hardy Beaufoeuf and Hardy Bingham conducted the final rites, with interment following in the Eden Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Mr. Reasons is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ollie Reasons of Searcy; and three daughters, Mrs. J. F. Bowman of Jonesville, Mrs. Bill Cockerham of Stamps, Ark., and Mrs. Burl Cotton of Fisher. Serving as pallbearers for the final rites were Shannon Williams, J. L. Melancon, E. R. Cornwell, Whitney LaCroix, C. R. Cockerham and Lonnie Jones.
