H. Reed was held Tuesday, December 6, at ten o'clock; the procession leaving the family residence and proceeding to the family cemetery near White Sulphur Springs. Mrs. Reed died in Alamogordo, New Mexico, in search of health. She is survived by her husband, J. H. Reed, mother, Mrs. Julia Dayton; two brothers, Messrs. Lee and Walter Dayton, of White Sulphur Springs; and two sisters, Mrs. J. U. Greer, Trout; and Mrs. J. N. Blume, Arcadia. The many floral offerings were very beautiful attesting the love and esteem in which Mrs. Reed was held. The funeral services were conducted by Reverends Cudd and Smith. The pallbearers were Messrs. Ed and C. C. Pyle, Cubberly, Lonnie Nugent, Ned Kiser, Ed Love and Moses Walker.
