Headline:  Bob Roberts, 70, of Winnfield Succumbs

Robert (Bob) Roberts, 70, of Winnfield, who died at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 
in an Alexandria hospital, was buried Saturday, Dec. 28, following services 
held at 2 p.m. at the Pollock Baptist Church.  Interment was held in the 
Pollock Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of 
Winnfield.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lottie Roberts of Winnfield; five 
sons, Harry D. of Bentley, L. B. of Alexandria, R. W. and Sherman of 
Winnfield, and John E. of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Mrs. C. H. Day of 
Trout, Mrs. H. T. McDaniel of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Eugene Boyett of 
Winnfield; two brothers, Albert of Longview, Wash., and Edgar of Carlisle, 
Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Castleberry of England, Ark., and Mrs. Ida 
Faulk of St. Louis, Mo., and 14 grandchildren.
