Richey, of Tioga, died at his home at 8 o'clock last Friday morning as a result of burns which he sustained when he fell in a tub of boiling water shortly after noon Thursday. The little boy was playing with his puppy and backed into the tub of water which his mother was heating for scrubbing purposes. He was rushed to Pineville where he received medical treatment and returned to his home Thursday night. Mickey is survived by his mother and father, three sisters, Docie, Maxine and Bobbie, and one brother, Otis, of Tioga and was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Richey, of Rhinehart. Interment was made in the Nolly Memorial Cemetery in Jena on Saturday morning at ten o'clock with Rev. Stille, of Tioga, and Rev. E. J. Phares, of Good Pine, officiating.
