Headline:  Orville Audis Ross of Georgetown Buried

Funeral services for Orville Audis Ross, 37, of route one, Georgetown were 
held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the New Union Baptist Church near Tullos with the 
Rev. Doris Dearmon and the Rev. Larry Wiltse officiating.  Burial followed in 
the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of 
Jena.

Mr. Ross died at 3:55 a.m. Friday in an automobile accident on U. S. Highway 
190 near Port Allen.  He was an oil field worker and a veteran of World War 
II.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine Maupin Ross of Georgetown; four 
daughters, Sondra Kay, Linda Kaye, and Nila Jena, all of Georgetown and 
Louella June of Kokomo, Ind.; three sons, Audis Lee, Jeffery Wayne and Ronnie 
Dale, all of Georgetown; one stepson, Leon Brown of Kokomo, Ind.; one 
brother, Earl Lee Ross of Georgetown; one sister, Mrs. Pearline Keck of 
Kokomo, Ind.; and his mother, Mrs. Ola Miles Ross of Georgetown.

Pallbearers were Paul Wright, Gary Wright, Tom Maupin, Clinton Priddy, 
Raymond Parker, and Ronald Isaac.
