Doris Dearmon and the Rev. Larry Wiltse officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. Mr. Ross died at 3:55 a.m. Friday in an automobile accident on U. S. Highway 190 near Port Allen. He was an oil field worker and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Catherine Maupin Ross of Georgetown; four daughters, Sondra Kay, Linda Kaye, and Nila Jena, all of Georgetown and Louella June of Kokomo, Ind.; three sons, Audis Lee, Jeffery Wayne and Ronnie Dale, all of Georgetown; one stepson, Leon Brown of Kokomo, Ind.; one brother, Earl Lee Ross of Georgetown; one sister, Mrs. Pearline Keck of Kokomo, Ind.; and his mother, Mrs. Ola Miles Ross of Georgetown. Pallbearers were Paul Wright, Gary Wright, Tom Maupin, Clinton Priddy, Raymond Parker, and Ronald Isaac.
