He was a general investigator for Food Co., a member of the Baptist faith and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was born Sept. 25, 9127, in Columbus, Ohio to the union of George and Kathleen Smith Risley. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 9, at the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. P.A. "Fox" Paul and Ernest Maynard officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery of Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens, Inc. of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Doris Neal Risley of Jena; two sons, George Risley of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Rees Risley of Harvey; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lonnie Lutrick, Eddie Bridges, Kenneth Starnes, Steve Sanders, Scott Thiels and Ollie Boyd.
