She was a retired drug store clerk and member of the East Jena Baptist Church. She was born March 24, 1917, at Jena to the union of Thomas A. and Minnie Chestwood Boddie. Services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 1, at East Jena Baptist Church with the Revs. Craig James and Johnnie Phillips officiating. Interment followed in the Hair Cemetery near Jena under direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include two sons, Donald D. Robertson and Douglas E. Robertson, both of Jena; one sister, Cleo M. Boddie of New Orleans; two brothers, Lane Boddie of Longview, Texas, and Allen Alexander Boddie of Taylor; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Steve Crooks, Thomas Lytle, Freddie Rand Smith, Doshier Norris, David Jones, George King, Charles Arnold, Donnie Cupples, Kirby Jones, and Billy Smith.
