C. Rollins R. C. Rollins, 67, of Jonesville, died Monday, July 24, 2000, at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was a truck driver in the timber industry. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 26, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Brian Taylor and Spanky Neal officiating. Interment followed at the Hamilton Cemetery of Aimwell under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc., of Jena. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Morris Rollins of Jonesville; six daughters, Ruby Edwards and Tammy Rena Smith, both of Harrisonburg, Joyce Gordon, Tosha Ann Rollins, Sherry Gail Ogden, and Georgie Lynn Barker, all of Jonesville; four sons, Robert Thomas Rollins of Nebo, Robert Kevin Rollins and James Alvin Barker, both of Jonesville and Judson Pierre Barker of Panama City, Fla.; his mother, Ruby Edna Furr of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Patricia Palermo, Kathy Lynn Haney and Janie Miller, all of Houston, Tx.; three brothers, Thomas Calvin Rollins of Mobile, Ala., Glover Rollins of Houston, Tx.; and Jimmy Clayton Rollins of Picayune, Ms.; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ernest Wayne Hamilton, Robert Morris, Johnny Hamilton, Jakie B. Morris, Bobby Morris, and Richard Coleman. Honorary pallbearers were Jamie Edwards, Willie Watson, Joseph Franklin, Robert Neal, Walter Hamilton, and James Alvin Barker, III.
