Headline:  Death Claims Sister of Jena Woman Sunday

Mrs. Dorothy Welch Sheerer, 39, Mooringsport, sister of Mrs. Frank 
Richardson, Jena, died at 6:10 am Sunday, April 23, 1967.

Mrs. Scheerer died in Shreveport.  She was a housewife and a member of the 
Baptist Church.

Services were held Tuesday, April 25, at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 
Jena, with the Rev. Dan Blake officiating.  Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery 
at Urania with arrangements by Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Jena.

Survivors are her husband, Harry Scheerer of Mooringsport; one daughter, 
Ginger Scheerer, one brother, L. E. Welch of Shreveport, one sister Mrs. 
Richardson; and her mother, Mrs. Edith Welch Thompson of Jena.
