Headline:  Mrs. R. M. Smith of Routon, Is Called to Her Reward Dec. 23

Mrs. R. M. Smith, aged 80 years, died at her home in Routon on Wednesday, 
December 23, and was buried at the Pine Grove Cemetery on Christmas Day.  
Rev. L. D. Posey, of Jena, conducted the funeral services.

Mrs. Smith leaves a host of friends in this parish, who join the bereaved 
relatives in mourning their loss.  She had long been a member of the Pine 
Grove Baptist Church and was a devoted Christian woman.

Surviving are her husband, seven children, 35 grandchildren, and 14 
great-grandchildren.
