Funeral services were held in Manifest Monday with Rev. Butler Ford, pastor of the Baptist Church at Manifest, officiating. Interment was made in the Heard Cemetery at Manifest. Mrs. Sargent was born in Wallaces Ridge on January 5, 1896, having moved to Rhinehart in 1930, having gone to El Dorado, Arkansas, from Wallaces Ridge. She was married to L. C. Sargent in 1925, and was 35 years old, 11 months, and 14 days at the time of her death. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. M. Young, husband, L. C. Sargent, one sister, Eloise, and three brothers, Dock, Cooly, and Richard. Kinner and Stevens, local undertakers, had charge of the arrangements.
