Smith, 69, of Nebo Route, Jena, died at the Jena Hospital early Friday morning. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Whitehall Pentecostal Church near Whitehall with Revs. Bruce Owens, Alton Fleming, M. G. Mangum, Mack Davidson, and O. C. Dyess, officiating. Burial was in the Pine Grove Cemetery of Whitehall unde arrangements of Hixson Brothers of Jena. Survivors include her husband, W. I. Smith of Nebo Route; two daughters, Mrs. Doris Maxey and Mrs. Billie McClure, both of Alexandria; a son, V. E. Smith of Whitehall; three brothers, T. C. Breithaupt, and T. E. Breithaupt, both of Jena; and R. D. Breithaupt of Winnfield; a sister, Mrs. Osey Williams of Whitehall; and ten grandchildren. Pallbearers were Kenneth Smith, William Dale Maxey, Sammy McClure, Jimmy Maxey, Don Wayne Breithaupt and Dexter McClure.
