Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at Midway Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Ralph Hatten officiating. Burial was in New Union Cemetery at Tullos with arrangements by Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home, Jena. Survivors are his wife, Bernice Smith, two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Sharp of Ferriday and Miss Theresa Smith of Jena; three sons, Jerry Glenn, Leslie Allen, and Eddie Jean, all of Jena; one brother, Frank Smith of San Jose, California; and three sisters, Mrs. Aubrey Smith and Mrs. Vance Elliott, both of Jena, and Mrs. Cleo Stephens of California; two grandchildren.
