Scarborough Dies at Walters; Funeral Held Dec. 28 Funeral services were held Tuesday, December 28, for David Bruce Scarborough, 85, in the Pine Grove Church at Blade with the Rev. R. M. Doughty, pastor, officiating. He died in the Home of his daughters, Mrs. S. Breithaupt, in Walters on Dec. 27. Mr. Scarborough was born in Clear Creek, Miss., in 1863, and was married in 1885 to the late Miss Melissa Edmonds. He is survived by five sons, Cleveland, Alton, Lee, R. V., and R. B. Scarborough, and three daughters, Mrs. S. Breithaupt, Mrs. Orene Clack, and Mrs. Else Doughty. Also, surviving are 45 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
