Local friends of the family were grieved on last Friday to learn of the death of little Charles Milton Swazey, 10 months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Swazey, of Jena. The little fellow had been suffering from some time with pneumonia and at times his condition seemed improved. Medical skill and loving care could not save him however, and he succumbed Friday surrounded by relatives and friends. Interment in the Nolly Memorial Cemetery in Jena followed church services at the M. E. Church, both ceremonies having been conducted by Rev. John Henry Smith, pastor of the First Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. E. C. Dufresne, Methodist pastor.
