Headline:  Mrs. Annie Stafford Services are Held

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Stafford, 59 year old Summerville resident, 
were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Kinner and Stevens Funeral 
Home of Jena.  The Rev. Ed Barksdale officiated with burial following in 
Nolley Memorial Cemetery of Jena.  

Mrs. Stafford died Monday at 4 a.m. in a Jena nursing home.  She was a member 
of the Methodist church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emma Lee Smith of Whitehall; two sons, 
Jimmie Stafford of Houma and John Stafford of Labadieville, two brothers, 
Howard M. Davis of Jena and Levi Davis of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. 
Lillie Gaskin of Ruston and Mrs. Mildred Pope of Summerville; and three 
grandchildren.
