The Rev. Ed Barksdale officiated with burial following in Nolley Memorial Cemetery of Jena. Mrs. Stafford died Monday at 4 a.m. in a Jena nursing home. She was a member of the Methodist church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emma Lee Smith of Whitehall; two sons, Jimmie Stafford of Houma and John Stafford of Labadieville, two brothers, Howard M. Davis of Jena and Levi Davis of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. Lillie Gaskin of Ruston and Mrs. Mildred Pope of Summerville; and three grandchildren.
