He was 64 years old and a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Thursday, Dec. 26 at 3 p.m. at the Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Gayle Dean officiating. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery of Rhinehart under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Margie Ogden of Franklin, three sons, Alton Sharp, Hubert Sharp and Monroe Sharp, all of Rhinehart; one brother, Johnnie Sharp of Rhinehart; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Phillips of Rhinehart, 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
