She was 68 years old and a member of the Manifest Baptist Church. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 15 at 10:30 a.m. at the Temple Baptist Church with the Rev. S. B. Spinks officiating. Burial was in Heard Cemetery of Manifest under the direction of Kinner and Stevens Funeral Home of Jena. Survivors include her husband, John H. Sandifer; four daughters, Mrs. Daphne Dawson of West Monroe, Mrs. Annie Bailey and Mrs. Dorothy Waller, both of Pineville; and Mrs. Johnnie M. Marshall of Shreveport; three sons, Dale Sandifer with the U. S. Army in Korea, Tillman Sandifer and Waymon Sandifer, both of Manifest and 11 grandchildren.
